CERN Summer Student Program 2023-24 in Switzerland is a Fully Funded program for International Candidates all over the world. Details of the coverage of costs is given below:
- An agreement of association of 8 to 13 weeks* to work on a technical project.

What will you Learn in This Program?
Over a duration of at least three months, Candidates will work on a progressive technical project as part which include an experimental, engineering or computing team. During this unique and exciting duration, you can attend a series of lectures particularly organized for you where experts and scientists from around the globe share their knowledge about a extensive range of topics in the fields of theoretical and experimental particle physics, engineering and computing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates having any nationality are allowed to apply.
- Candidates must be Undergraduate or Master’s Degree student (not PhD) in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics and must have completed, by the European Summer 2022, at least three years of full-time studies at university level.
- Students will remain registered as a student during your online studentship with CERN. If you assume to graduate for the period of European summer 2023 (as of May), you are also allowable to apply.
- Candidates have not worked at CERN before with any other status (Technical Student, Trainee, User or other status) for more than 3 months and you have not before been a Summer Student at CERN (please note that specially.
